Yes, both are used. Official code table is based on ISO 8859-15. On Windows CP 1252 (Western) is recommended and CP 1257 (Baltic) is suggested as second best choice when 1252 is not available.

Ain, in V2.1 there is already support to use unicode collation with any character set.
And the unicode collation (case sensitive and insensitive) accepts a locale parameter that you can use for Estonia (LOCALE=ET_EE).

Unfortunately, there is no snapshot build of it, but if you are interested I can send a build for you test if that fills the need of Estonian people.

Yes, I could do some tests to see does it work as expected for Estonian locale. Win version vould be preferable.

BTW, is this (using unicode collation with any character set) is the future of FB's "foreign language support" so that it doesn't make sense to write special collations for character sets?

IMO it is, when possible.

I suppose unicode collation with estonian locale is what was requested and is already possible to use.
