FB v1.0 has not been in active development for several years. Accordingly, this case will not be addressed.

If this issue is reproducable with a later version of the engine (1.5 or 2.0), please re-open this case with detail of a reproducible test.

Then at least direct me to somewhere where I can find a solution. It may not have been in active development but clearly I have a problem with it. Help me, please.

The problem is that you reported an issue between Borland InterClient (intended to work with InterBase) and very old Firebird. While we could try to fix issues with Firebird 1.0 (at least on platforms where newer versions are not available), we certainly can't fix issues with third party products that according to the producer are not intended to work with Firebird. Unfortunately for you, asking in Borland support forums wouldn't help you either for the same reason. If you want support, you should use JayBird with Firebird, or InterClient with InterBase.
