WinXP, Firebird 2.1 Beta1 using a fixed 2.0.1 Database restored with 2.1 gbak.

When executing steps described in misc/upgrade/metadata_charset.txt to fix character sets and metadata extraction problem, descriptions got messed up:

Before: "Descripci?n completa del producto." (2.01 DB)

After: "Descripci???????<long mess stripped>????????"
(2.1 with metadata fixed)
