Created: 16/Jul/07 05:53 AM   Updated: 26/Dec/07 12:18 PM
Component/s: Engine
Affects Version/s: 2.1 Beta 1
Fix Version/s: 2.1 Beta 2

Time Tracking:

Environment: Win XP SP2

 Description  « Hide
The monitoring tables weren't adjusted to the BLOB metadata changes. The RDB$SQL_TEXT column is of FSS_UNICODE charset and hence it should transliterate the string-2-blob conversion properly.

when trying the folowing statement in FB 2.1:
   select '"'||MON$USER||'"','"'||MON$ROLE||'"' from MON$ATTACHMENTS;
the result isn't the one expexted, but is:
   "SYSDBA,"DBA

is that normal ?

Dmitry, seems to be due to embedded null characters inside the string.
