GSTAT: 'localhost' is case-sensitive in Windows

Created: 02/Aug/07 01:33 PM   Updated: 26/Dec/07 11:09 AM
Component/s: GSTAT
Affects Version/s: 2.0.1, 2.1 Beta 1
Fix Version/s: 2.0.2, 2.1 Beta 2

Time Tracking:
Not Specified

Environment: Win2k SP4 + Update Rollup 1

 Description  « Hide
firebird.conf :
DatabaseAccess = None
'employee' is the alias of standard employee.fdb in aliases.conf.

gstat -h localhost:employee

works fine, but

gstat -h Localhost:employee

doesn't ('?? ??????? ????? ????????? ????.'), though there is no difference between this cases in Windows.

As far as I understand, the reason is that the comparing with local_inet_prefix constant in dba.epp is case-sensitive starting with FB 2.0 and later.

Best regards, Eugene
