In the case of FireBird uninstalling, following message is displayed.
"Are you sure you want to remove Firebird and all its components?"
I select "Y" as YES,
I get a popup when the uninstallation start " Remove shared Files?"
I clicked "Yes to All".
At the end of uninstallation when i check the installed path i see the
4 files (aliases.conf, firebird.conf, firebird.log, security.fdb) remained in
C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_2_1.
My requirement:
I would intend to remove the firebird installation totally and not keep these 4 file for future use .

You have logged this as a bug. It is not a bug. It is exactly as designed. Those four files are user files. Those who are uninstalling in preparation for a server upgrade or reinstallation would be extremely aggrieved if aliases.conf, firebird.conf and security2.fdb were not there. As for firebird.log, there are often reasons why an organisation might need to retain it.
