gbak says, for example:
-BU(FFERS) override page buffers default
-FIX_FSS_D(ATA) fix malformed UNICODE_FSS data
-FIX_FSS_M(ETADATA) fix malformed UNICODE_FSS metadata
gbak:switches can be abbreviated to the unparenthesized characters
Someone changed this last message but gbak still accepts the first command that matches a single letter.
gfix says, for example:
-activate activate shadow file for database usage
-attach shutdown new database attachments
qualifiers show the major option in parenthesis
Which pair of parentheses? Internally, it may accept any amount of characters, from 1 to the full length of the option's name.
