A more appropriate place to discuss compile/porting issues is the Firebird-Devel mailing list, where the core engine development team discusses issues.

Pierre, tracker is not a good place to discuss beta versions - devel list is used fot it. I'm closing this item as incomplete.

Please write to mailto:firebird-devel@lists.sourceforge.net, providing stack backtrace for failed gpre_current. Without it it's hard to help you - take into an account that for all the rest build runs OK on linux.
