The bug was introduced in v2.5.1 with CORE-3323.
The only known appearance is when nbackup disconnects from database.
AV happens after page cache is flushed to disk so there should be no database corruptions.
SS seems not affected.

The bug was fixed in trunk (v3) when shared page cache was committed.
