Currently firebird only allows the use of isc_seek on true stream blobs (those that are saved as stream blobs). Can this be extended to segmented blobs to allow an absolute seek (= mode 0), and a relative (= mode 1) with a positive value? I think this would be similar to a segmented read (from start, or from the current position) without actually reading or transferring the data.
