If volume is mounted as RAM-drive (tmpfs), FB3.0 does not allow create/resore database on this volume.
/tmp mounted as tmpfs:
isql-fb -user SYSDBA -password masterkey
Use CONNECT or CREATE DATABASE to specify a database
SQL> CREATE DATABASE '/tmp/db.fdb';
Statement failed, SQLSTATE = HY000
operating system directive fstat failed
-Bad file descriptor
