The file Firebird.pas, supplied in distributions (presumably generated by the CLOOP utility), is not suitable for use in Delphi 2007 applications.
1. In the description of the interfaces (FirebirdInterface.idl file), Pascal's reserved words "record" are used, example:
boolean insertRecord\(const string name, ReplicatedRecord record\);
The corresponding pascal code is generated:
IReplicatedTransaction\_insertRecordPtr = function\(this: IReplicatedTransaction; name: PAnsiChar; record: IReplicatedRecord\): Boolean; cdecl;
This code is not compiled.
2. The types used are int16 and integer32, which are not "built-in" for Delphi. This code is also not compiled.
3. Also used are the ISC_TIMESTAMP_TZ and ISC_TIME_T types, which are not declared anywhere.
