gbak neither stores nor restores replica mode. As the result it is reset to NONE after backup-restore cycle.

Should we also add a switch to override the replica mode stored in backup while restoring?

I think that this switch (and corresponding service tag) is a good thing in any case. Even without the mode stored in backup file.
