Hi,

I have been asked by some of the users of Tiny-Cobol
to request that Cobol support be turned on for the
platforms that Tiny Cobol Supports. Currently it is
Turned on for Linux.
Please can you enable Cobol support in Gpre for the
following additional platforms.

1) Win32.
2) FreeBsd.
3) Intel Solaris.

Also when completed how would someone with Release 1
installed on a win32 platform go about getting the
updated gpre.

Anyone keen to try to build GPRE with Cobol enabled on
win32? :-)

From Kevin Monceaux:

Please consider compiling COBOL support into GPRE by
default for platforms which TinyCobol is available. I just
installed FirebirdSS Version 1.5.1.4481-0 from rpm and
the GPRE program included with the package does not
include COBOL support. I tried compiling Firebird from
source to add COBOL support to GPRE but the compile
failed on a Mandrake 10.1 box with gcc version 3.4.1.
