I made all the configuration correctly(register the assembly e add the lines in BDPDataSources.xml and BDPConnections.xml) but when I tried to configure a connection an error occured:

"There was an error reflecting type 'FirebirdSql.Data.Bdp.FbConnectionString" and then another message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

That version of the BDP is not intented to work with the BDP version of Delphi 2006 ( Borland has done changes on the bdp interfaces that aren't implemented in that version.

You can try with the BDP sources that are in CVS or get the compiled version from the weekely builds
