Wrong sentence in FB3 RC1 RN [DOC113] #119

In the sentence "In summary, if you plan to use international character credentials in the script, you DO need to attend to the international settings in your environment." I believe the "attend" is not correct word (I think something like "adhere" is correct). But given I'm not a native speaker I might be wrong, unaware or the usage in this context.

I disagree. "Attend to" = "pay attention to and fix if necessary". "Adhere to" means "stick to". This isn't what is being said here.
