In several places in the Firebird 2.1 documentation, it states that:

If a member of the built-in Domain Admins group connects to Firebird using trusted authentication, he/she will be connected as SYSDBA.

This is actually incorrect/incomplete, as BOTH Local Admins on the server where Firebird is running and Domain Admins are mapped to SYSDBA when using trusted authentication. This is a subtle but important point for those of us that administer Firebird databases at a customer's site, where we obviously won't have Domain Admin rights.

Don't know. I found *one place* where local Admins wasn't mentioned, and fixed that. Couldn't find any others.

Added "local administrators" in the Security chapter. Otherwise, can't identify "several places".
