The function BIN_NOT got undocumented because it had not a tracker ticker. It only got mentioned in the keyword section. It's mentioned in README.builtin_functions.txt.
-----
In this section:
"The FIX_FSS_DATA and FIX_FSS_METADATA functions that were implemented as gbak -restore switches in Firebird 2.1 have been implemented in the core engine and exposed as corresponding tag constants for the isc_action_svc_restore structure in the Services API."
2.1 had not FIX_FSS options. They were introduced in 2.5, but sometime later the SPB got implemented.
-----
In an example, is mentioned:
"/* will use the database default character set and the win1252 default collation */"
The correct thing here would be "... and the win1252's default collation ..."
-----
In the new EXECUTE STATEMENT, there is a paragraph: "MORE INFORMATION REQUIRED. ROLES?"
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
1. Please would Adriano report in which sub-release the BIN_NOT function is first present.
2. With reference to the fix metadata stuff, I cannot tell exactly what Adriano is saying here. It seems we agree that "The FIX_FSS_DATA and FIX_FSS_METADATA functions that were implemented as gbak -restore switches in Firebird 2.1..." should read "The FIX_FSS_DATA and FIX_FSS_METADATA functions that were implemented as gbak -restore switches in Firebird 2.5..." but what is not clear is at which point the addition of the SPB equivalent was implemented in 2.1.x.
3. Adding a tracker entry regarding the EXECUTE STATEMENT issue. Need info from V. Khorsun probably.

It was added in 2.5.0.

There is nothing about FIX_FSS in 2.1. No option and no SPB, AFAICT.

I'm forwarding this to Vlad and Alex so they can provide this info and confirm (2).
