Description of POSITION() function doesn't mention value returned by the function if first string wasn't found in second.

If you're referring to the LangRef Update, it says:

If no match is found, the result is 0\.

There are also some examples that return 0.

Or are you talking about another document?

I'm talking about Release Notes and doc/sql.extensions/README.builtin_functions. Aren't they called "Documentation" too?..

I'll assign this issue to Helen for the Release Notes. And I'll clone it for the core devs - they maintain the readmes in the doc subtree of the Firebird packages.

I've fixed this in the v.2.1.4 release notes but I note that the readme in both 2.1.4 and 2.5.1 sources is still too sparse to make sense.

Am signing off this (DOC58) and will leave the clone (DOC59) untouched for Adriano et al.
