Bad documentation for BLOBVIEW and BLOBDUMP commands for isql

Created: 10/Sep/14 08:07 PM   Updated: 13/Feb/18 08:06 PM

Environment: documentation

 Description  « Hide
On the page

The "BLOBVIEW" section includes a Table 7 with a "FILENAME" argument that doesn't apply; this is likely cut-and-paste from the previous BLOBDUMP section.

ALSO: the previous BLOBDUMP section says that the filename must be fully qualified, but the example doesn't show a full path.

Looks like an old version of the isql manual has been uploaded at some point.

Strangely the document online and the file in the source repository are totally different. The offending text does not appear in the source code for the document.

Nothing to fix, but perhaps an updated HTML version needs to be uploaded.
