Currently a number of database metadata methods use the wrong data type for their columns. This is not really a big problem, but should be fixed anyway:
For example, DATA_TYPE is currently mapped as a SQL_SHORT in some (but not all) methods, while JDBC specifies it to be an int (SQL_LONG).
